Hello, my names J.J. (Jeffrey John) Baker and I’m a full time UX Consultant.
During my career I have developed a system for connecting with niche markets, communicating the value of User Experience and selling specific UX solutions at scale.
I founded UX Consulting Academy to help designers, researchers devs just about anyone with an interest in the web start a WFA (work from anywhere) UX Business and make money doing work they love.
Making that shift was the most high value career choice I made in my professional life. I'm very passionate about the results I've achieved and I am excited to help others do the same. Going from full time graphic designer i.e generalist on a very shall we say, "average" salary to full time UX Consultant was literally; life changing.
Finally I had control over my work processes and finally, I could focus on solving real problems for real users. Finally, I could treat my girlfriend and I to holidays knowing there was a business to come back to!
Following my continued success over the years and the systemisation of a niche market UX solution I built a 6 week programme that shows you, how you can do the same. It is the UX Consulting Accelerator designed for professional transformation.
For me - when I first made that transition - I did do so for the purpose of making more money whilst doing work I was passionate about. To specialise in UX and finally have a work from anywhere business; that was my dream. To make that dream a reality is something I'm really proud of.
Now I help people do the same, giving them the tools and strategies to do work they love for a price based on value not just more hours on the clock. As such the culture here at UX Consulting Academy is community focused, everyone helps everyone to learn, grow and together we lead the change!
